Developing the Riverstone Scheduled Lands
Landcom is assisting landowners to create a new residential community in the Vineyard-Riverstone Scheduled Lands.
The Scheduled Lands forms part of the Riverstone precinct located within the North West Growth Sector where development is about to begin (the North Kellyville Precinct). However, there are a number of challenges that landowners face in the Scheduled Lands before they can develop their land:
Landcom has been working to find a way to overcome these problems. We have developed a model which will help landowners with the co-ordination, funding and delivery of services to their land. The model provides landowners with the option to pay for their share of infrastructure costs with part of their land as an alternative to an upfront payment.
This website provides information about the work we have been doing, particularly our land trading model. If you are an owner of land identified as low density residential in the draft rezoning, we would like to hear from you.
If you have any questions or would like additional information please call the Riverstone Scheduled Lands information line on 1800 238 321 or e-mail the Riverstone Team at riverstone@landcom.nsw.gov.au
Latest News Landowner meetings In February of this year, Landcom wrote to landowners whose land was identified as low density residential in the draft rezoning inviting them to meet with us. These meetings gave owners a chance to find out what we are proposing and ask detailed questions about how it might work for them. We had a good turn out to the meetings, got asked some great questions and heard some excellent ideas from those who attended To view Landcom’s presentation at the meeting click here Scheduled Lands rezoning set to be finalised second half of 2009 The first step in developing the scheduled Lands will be a rezoning of the area.
